On September 2nd, community and Sarasota County officials held the Dearborn Street Plaza official groundbreaking and preliminary work has already begun to upgrade the Plaza, the site of farmers market, festivals, and other special events. When completed, the Plaza will have a permanent bandshell stage, restrooms, concrete walkways, lighting, and landscaping.
