The Charlotte Players brought "A Murder on the High...or Low Seas" to the Lighthouse Grill at the Stump Pass Marina on July 27. While guests enjoyed a "four-corpse" dinner under a tent overlooking Lemon Bay, an eight-member cast in full costume, presented a murder mystery set in swashbuckling times. Performers encouraged audience participation during the show and at the conclusion, passed out ballots for guests to name the killer, weapon used and motive. Only Marsha Cochran and Patty Willey correctly solved the mystery and both received prizes. The show is like the Players' "Murder Mystery on the High Seas" cruises, which sail from the King Fisher Fleet at Fishermen's Village. Englewood residents, from left, Geri Stevens, Beate DuMouchel and Lisa Clark at the dinner. Visit charlotteplayers.org for future adventures.
