DetailsGasparilla Vacations is hosting a volunteer beach clean-up on Saturday, September 18, located at 5th Street Beach, 8:00 - 11:00a.m. Those interested in being clean-up volunteers can sign up here and choose the Boca Grande site: www.klcb.org/events/coastal-cleanup. This is the 34th year of International Coastal Clean-Up Day. In partnership with Keep Lee County Beautiful, and Ocean Conservancy. Over the last 5 years over 2000 volunteers have picked up over 90,000lbs of trash from Lee County waterways! International Coastal Cleanup is the largest volunteer effort of its kind. Every September ICC has motivated over twelve million people from around the world to pick up over 147 million pounds of trash from more than 300,000 miles of shoreline. Here''s your chance to help clean our beautiful beaches. Registered volunteers will receive a T-shirt. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Questions??
