Denise C. West

Denise C. West, 76, of Englewood, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Denise was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on September 6, 1944 and was the youngest daughter of Eddy and Cecile Bellefeuille and sister of Yolande McGann of Austin, Texas and Charlotte (Jean) Schwartz of Manchester, New Hampshire. Denise moved to Centerville, Massachusetts in 1970. She held several jobs including Home Health CNA, nail-technician and many years as a bookkeeper and sales associate at Betsy Jenny Co. in Cotuit, MA. Denise loved Cape Cod, coastal wildflowers, gardening, quilting and sailing throughout Nantucket Sound with her husband Robert West. Denise and Bob married in February 1993. In 2004 Denise and Bob made Englewood their home where she maintained her love of a different coast and good times spent with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Denise is survived by her loving and devoted husband Robert D. West, her cherished daughter Bobbi (Eric) Fogo, (grandson Austin Fogo) all of Englewood, Florida and son, Richard Bruno Tobojka II (Rebecca) Tobojka of Centerville, Massachusetts along with step children and grandchildren, Rob (Lindsey) West and grandchildren Kaitlyn and Max of Pacifica, California, Caroline (Robert) Brown and grandchildren Samantha, Catie and Nathaniel of Derry, New Hampshire, Josh (Jenny) West and grandchildren Josh Jr., Rosemary, Jack and Erin of Dunstable, Massachusetts, Jason (Kimberly) West and grandchildren Sydney and Faith of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and her former husband and children’s father Richard B. Tobojka.

A Memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Englewood, Florida.
