The meet is conveniently located near downtown Englewood, at 445 S. Indiana Avenue - the location for Bealls Outlet, Cribs-To-Go, Sears Hometown, Real Bikes, Richards, Wink’s and Stefano’s restaurants. Starting at 7:30am, all makes & models of vehicles from Model T Fords to 2020 corvettes and Mercedes pull into the parking lot for conversation and often have breakfast at Wink’s which offers 4 different breakfast specials that day or enjoy coffee & breakfast at Stefano’s. There are no memberships, dues or organized agendas – just car buffs having a good time. The group originally met in North Port and about four years ago, a second meeting location was started by Bob Carey at Lemon Bay Shopping Center, 1845 Englewood Road. Simply Yum Yum Bakery served coffee and donuts but when the bakery was temporarily closed due to the owner recovering from a serious accident, the group moved around in search of a new caffeine fueling station. They were welcomed at Englewood Square with fueling stops at Wink’s and Stefano’s. Some of the regulars continue to meet at the Lemon Bay Shopping Center where Yum Yum Bakery has reopened, As the number of vehicles increase during season, you will find plenty of car talk at the location you choose.
